The adult entertainment world was shaken this week following the arrest of 23-year-old adult film star Drake Von (legal name Dawson Bacon). While Von initially took to the media to claim the incident was nothing more than a "publicity stunt," official police documentation reveals a far more severe and violent reality.
Here is what we know about the allegations and the ongoing legal case.
According to a Las Vegas police report, the arrest stemmed from a verbal argument between Von and his girlfriend that rapidly escalated into physical violence.
The victim told Detective D. Groberski that the argument began in a car after she threw a promise ring out of the window. The dispute continued once they returned to their residence. When she attempted to call a friend to pick her up, Von allegedly:
Confiscated her cell phone and refused to return it.
Ordered her to get onto her knees and apologize to him.
Kicked her and forced her to the ground.
Strangled her by applying intense pressure to her throat, restricting her breathing until she temporarily blacked out.
Once she regained consciousness, the victim was able to flee the residence, meet her friend, and contact the police. Authorities noted that her physical injuries—including a bruise above her right eyebrow, a scratch on her hand, and visible redness on her neck—were entirely consistent with her account of being strangled.
The arrest itself required a high-level law enforcement response. Because responding officers spotted an empty firearm magazine on Von's coffee table upon entering the residence, a SWAT team was dispatched to safely secure the apartment and take him into custody.
Upon his arrest, Von—who reportedly has a previous arrest record for domestic battery—refused to speak with detectives and immediately requested his attorney.
