A Commitment Unfulfilled

Uppercase White "W" With A Black Filled Background

The Wild Podcast & Patreon Members:

As a long-time supporter and paying member of The Wild Podcast's Patreon, I feel compelled to voice the growing disappointment and frustration shared by many in our community. What began as a promising platform for deeper engagement and exclusive content has devolved into a hollow shell of its original promise.

Silencing the Community

The first red flag was the abrupt shutdown of the comment section. Remember when they claimed this would be an "incredible space to respond to our questions and keep members engaged"? Those words now ring hollow. By removing the primary avenue for member feedback, they've effectively muted the very community they claimed to cherish.

Vanishing Member Interviews

One of the most exciting initial offerings was the promise of member interviews - a chance for everyday supporters to share their stories and connect with the podcast's broader narrative. These interviews have not just diminished; they've completely disappeared. What happened to that commitment? The silence is deafening.

A Stagnant "Spin the Wheel" Experience

Let's talk about the "Spin the Wheel" game - once a dynamic and exciting feature that suggested ongoing innovation and member interaction. Instead, it has become a stale, repetitive exercise. The same prizes, the same lackluster approach. Where is the evolution? Where is the creativity that was initially promised?

Feeling Cheated, Not Supported

From a member's perspective, this feels like a fundamental breach of trust. We're not just paying for content; we're investing in a community and a promise. Each month, our subscription fees contribute to what was marketed as a dynamic, interactive experience. What we're receiving instead is a static, uninspired offering that falls far short of expectations.

A Call for Transparency

To The Wild Podcast team: We deserve better. We want to know:

  • Why have member interactions been systematically reduced?
  • What happened to the promised innovative content?
  • Are you listening to your community at all?

Our financial support should mean something more than just padding your bottom line. It should represent a genuine commitment to the community that supports you.

Conclusion: The Choice is Ours

For now, many of us are left with a simple decision: continue supporting a platform that no longer delivers on its promises or seek more authentic, engaging content creators who genuinely value their community.

The ball is in your court, The Wild Podcast. It's time to live up to your original vision or risk losing the very supporters who helped you grow.

Julian Barboza Told Me To GTFO After He Started Dissing Older Women

Disappointing Stream Experience Leads to Reevaluation of Content Consumption

Julian Barboza Collage

In the world of content creation, kindness and respect should be at the forefront of every creator's mindset. While it's natural to encounter criticism or challenging situations, it's crucial for content creators to maintain a positive and respectful demeanor, even when faced with negativity. This is especially true when they receive tips or financial support from their audience. In this blog post, I will tell you about my experience with Julian Barboza.

Recently, I came across a live stream hosted by Julian Barboza. The stream had a set goal that viewers could contribute towards in exchange for a reward. While taking part in the stream, I saw an exchange that left me rethinking my support for his content.

During the live stream, the conversation shifted towards celebrity crushes. When viewers began suggesting names, Julian expressed his dislike for many of the suggestions, particularly those of actors Megan Fox and Beyonce. His primary objection appeared to be their age, using terms like "ugly" and "too old" to describe them. He then moved on to talking how the women that were being mentioned were not attractive which was all age related. He followed that up with saying, “I don’t understand how you guys think women in their 30's and 40's are hot because they're not!"

While personal preferences are undeniable, I found the commentary focused on age to be age-shaming. I felt compelled to respectfully voice my disagreement in the chat. Unfortunately, Julian's response was unprofessional and dismissive. His response was, STFU! I'll say whatever I want in here, you p*ussy. Then he continued with, I can't believe someone came in my stream and tried to tell me what I should and should not say, if you don't like it, you can get the fuck out of here.

This interaction prompted me to re-evaluate my support for Julian's content. Despite having contributed a significant amount towards tonight's stream's goal as well as in the past, I decided it would be my last contribution. It's important to me to support creators who foster a positive and inclusive environment.

Furthermore, Julian co-hosts content is potentially affected by this behavior. He a co-host on a podcast with Brandon Cardoso on Patreon, a platform which I am also a subscriber to. Either Julian has not thought about it or worse doesn't care how his actions could negatively affect his co-host and current roommate Brandon Cardoso. I will say Julian's actions have unfortunately influenced my decision to re-evaluate my continued support for their collaborative work as well.

Moving forward, I will focus on supporting content creators who show respect for their audience and avoid negativity in their interactions.

At this point in time, I will follow Julian's suggestion by GTFO and search for content creators who appreciate their subscribers and hope they will not try and squeeze every dollar out of them like Julian Does. I will continue to subscribe, watch and support Brandon Cardoso’s own and separate content.

Remember, the impact of our actions extends far beyond the content we create, and fostering a kind and respectful environment is essential for long-term success in the digital landscape

Content Creators Criticizing Other Content Creators

Harsh Words From Brandon & Julian On The Wild Podcast

Brandon Cardoso and Julian Barboza

I was watching a podcast yesterday and was shocked by some of the things I heard them saying. They speak as if they are veterans that are well known. They sound and come off more arrogant than anything else. They referred to other performers as being busted. Both of them are no strangers to social media and / or creating content. You may remember Brandon was a part of Rax Club, which has been accused of questionable tactics. Julian had a very public breakup with his ex-girlfriend Rosa and suffered some backlash for the way he managed it. Certainly! As a beginner in any field, it's essential to approach your work with humility and respect. Here are some valuable insights for newbies:

The Art of Humility: Learning from the Experienced

1. Understand Your Novice Stage

When you're just starting out, you're in the novice stage. Like a fledgling bird, you rely on clear instructions and recipes to navigate your way. Recognize that seasoned professionals have already weathered this stage and have honed their skills over time. Embrace your novice status and be open to learning.

 2. Avoid Criticizing the Experts

It's tempting to critique those who've been in the game longer. Perhaps you've spotted inefficiencies or think you have better ideas. However, openly criticizing experienced content creators can create a hostile environment. Instead, look to understand their perspectives. They've likely encountered challenges you haven't yet faced.

 3. Learn from Their Wisdom

You can learn a lot from experienced professionals. They have gained a wealth of knowledge through their journey. Talk to them, ask them questions, and listen attentively. Their insights can help you grow faster. Don't forget, they were also beginners once, and their expertise is the result of their journey.

 4. Collaborate & Build Bridges

Rather than bad-mouthing, collaborate. Share your fresh ideas while respecting their established methods. A harmonious set benefit everyone. You'll gain allies, learn faster, and contribute positively to the team.

 5. Focus on Self-Improvement

Channel your energy into self-improvement. Instead of criticizing others, critique your own work constructively. Seek feedback, learn from mistakes, and adapt. The path to mastery involves continuous learning and refinement.

 6. Celebrate Their Success

When seasoned colleagues achieve milestones, celebrate with them. Their victories don't diminish your potential. In fact, their success paves the way for yours. Learn from their achievements and use them as inspiration.

 7. Cultivate Professional Relationships

Networking matters. Build genuine relationships with experienced creators. They can offer mentorship, guidance, and opportunities. Remember, they were once where you are now.

 8. Acknowledge Their Journey

No one becomes an expert overnight. They put in a lot of effort, commitment, and perseverance. When you appreciate their journey, you respect their achievements and also inspire your own learning.

 Conclusion

As a beginner, choose kindness over criticism. Respect the path others have traveled, and you'll find yourself on a rewarding journey toward expertise. Remember, the road to mastery is paved with humility, collaboration, and a willingness to learn.

Remember, we all start as beginners in everything we do in our lives. Work on growing your skills individually and together with others. We're all new to something at some point in our lives. Let's learn together.
