Boys Will Be Boys

Boys Will Be Boys In The Restroom

Your are out and about with your friends and have to dip into the bathroom to take a piss and you walk in on this and are shocked. At some point you realize that you are stroking your hard dick watching this crazy show unfold before you very own eyes.

You know how crazy and dangerous this is, besides your friends are waiting for you right outside the door. The last thing you want if for one of them to walk in and catch you beating off to and with other guys in a public bathroom and yet you can't stop jerking your dick. Fuck! It's too late, one of my friends walked in and saw me and immediately turned around and walked out. I know he is out there right now telling the guys what he saw me doing. There is no plausible explanation for what I was doing, so I'm going to face the music, blue balls and all.

Cottaging: The History and Thrill of Public Play

Have you ever wondered where some of our most specific subculture terms come from? Today, we’re diving into the history of "cottaging"—a classic piece of British slang with deep roots in the history of gay cruising—and talking about why the thrill of public play still holds such a massive appeal for so many.

What is Cottaging?

For those unfamiliar with the term, cottaging is British slang that refers to anonymous sexual activity between men in a public restroom, park pavilion, or similar public facility.

The origin of the word is actually quite literal. Historically, public toilet blocks in the UK were often built as standalone brick or stone structures designed to look like quaint, small cottages to help them blend into parks and urban spaces. Over time, the community adopted the name, and "cottaging" became an established term for seeking out discreet, anonymous connections in these spaces.

The History Behind the Cruise

Decades ago, before apps, modern bars, or legalization, cruising in public spaces wasn’t just about preferences—it was a vital way to find connection, community, and intimacy during eras when homosexual acts were heavily criminalized and heavily policed. It required a unique set of unspoken rules, signals, and absolute discretion.

The Modern Appeal: The Thrill of Public Play

While the world has changed and finding a partner is often just a swipe away, public play hasn't lost its spark. In fact, for many, the digital age can't replicate the raw, physical excitement of the real world.

There is a unique, undeniable rush that comes with public environments. Personally, one of my absolute favorite things to do is public play, more specifically in public bathrooms.

The intense adrenaline of potentially getting caught is an incredible high on its own. When someone walks in and catches you, those few frozen moments of absolute uncertainty—not knowing if they'll yell, call the police, or decide to join you—introduce an intense, unknown variable where every path carries its own heavy consequence.

Ultimately, the thrill of getting caught is second only to that electric, unexpected moment when they read the vibe perfectly and choose to join you instead. That raw spontaneity, danger, and mutual understanding create a vibe you simply can't find anywhere else.

What do you think?

Public play definitely isn't for everyone, but for those who get it, the rush is unmatched.
